This Midweek Bible study really got sizzeling when Pastor Sparks posed the Question to the congregation at the Wednesday evening Bible study, "How do we get past step #1?"

 

Then he continued with in 2018 we need to transition from "How can this be?" To " Let it be unto me all that you have said Lord!"

The Year end Bible Study at The River. After having a tremendous year of the Favor of the Lord, Pastor Sparks encourages the people of The River, that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whose Report will you believe? 

It's a New Season! The Lord is moving us into a New Season at The River, and through this morning's message Brother Corey Thompson described what it means to be in a time of transition, and how to safely navigate between the 'rumble strips' on either side of the narrow way. recorded March 1 2015  at The River.

In Matthew chapter 13 Jesus makes a distinction between "Them" and "Us." There are two messages that go out when the Word og God is preached. one that the crowd hears, and one that His follower's hear. This is why the secular world cannot comprehend the Word of God.

At the end of this powerful message Pastor Sparks asks you the question, so which group are you in?

We are sinners in need of grace, strugglers in need of strength. Jesus teaches us to pray, “Forgive our debts … and lead us not into temptation.”
